Oh, we love Croque Monsieur and Croque Madames here. I make it for the hubby on the weekends. So, so good. Of course, in Paris it's gotta be out of this world!!! Yum.
Oh, weekend treat... I like that. You must have some pretty interesting food-city combos Susi, no? I think I read somewhere that you are originally from Germany (unless I am confusing you with someone else, in which case I apologize).
I love croques in France and Belgium, but whenever I tried them anywhere else in the world they just would disappoint me - different cheese, different ham, different everything it seemed. But the patisseries and confiseries in France were always my favourites.
Right? Never tastes the same elsewhere. Heck, their bread alone makes me weak in the knees! And I'm totally with you about the patisseries, macaroons... yumm! Which one is your favorite?
Those are my sister's hands. In a cafe in Paris. I was having the "escalope" (you can only see my lemon)(and wine). To say that they are ham and cheese sandwiches is so, so wrong, because they are divine... but that's pretty much what they are.
Oops... can you tell I was still half asleep when I commented this am? I totally missed the city part, although, even now I still don't have a good answer :( Ham and cheese is always good, but I can only imagine with a french twist... and your wine is always good :-)

Great picture! what is it? I love your nail color!
Food combo - I like anything spicy - doesn't matter what... the spicier the better. And, I love fruit in my salad....

It's not really a food, but I would kill for a sangria in any city in Spain.
I'll come with ya. But I don't think we have to go that far. I seem to remember you making a mean sangria.
